Vehicle fire blocks I-75 North near Fort Lauderdale

NEAR FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Northbound I-75 at mile marker 37 is currently blocked due to a vehicle fire, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Fire crews are actively working to extinguish the flames. Drivers who are in the area may use the left shoulder to pass the wreck but are urged to proceed with caution.

Officials have not specified the exact cause of the fire or said if anyone was injured.
