SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL – A woman was killed in Sunny Isles Beach after being hit by a vehicle on Monday afternoon, WSVN reports.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 159th Street and Collins Avenue. The victim, who has not yet been identified was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a vehicle.

She sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The driver remained on the scene.
