More About Shirley
Shirley Michel brings warmth, dedication, and over 15 years of experience in the personal injury field to her role as an Investigator and Case Manager. She holds certifications as a Florida Registered Paralegal and Florida Public Notary. She began her career in 2006 as a Legal Secretary and has since built a reputation for her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to helping clients feel heard and supported.
For Shirley, the work is deeply personal. One client, grateful to finally have someone who could speak to her in Kreyol, brought Shirley a pineapple as a gift—a symbol of giving one’s heart. Experiences like these remind her of the impact she makes within the Haitian community by offering clients the comfort of speaking freely in their native language.
“Helping clients isn’t just my job—it’s my calling. Giving people comfort, whether through language or understanding, is how I show them they’re not alone.”
-Shirley Michel
Shirley grew up in Miami-Dade and Broward County, deeply influenced by the strength of her immigrant mother. After losing her father at a young age, Shirley was raised by her mother, whose resilience and determination became her greatest inspiration. Today, Shirley is most proud of being a mother to her amazing son. Her family remains her foundation, and she strives every day to make God, her mother, and her son proud.
Outside of work, Shirley enjoys spending time with loved ones, networking with like-minded professionals, and giving back through her involvement with the Palm Beach County Justice Association and Scholar Career Coaching, where she serves on the board. Loyal, charismatic, and determined, Shirley is admired by friends and colleagues alike for her integrity and kindness.
One of Shirley’s Favorite Kreyol Proverb: Sa ou fè se li ou wè
Translation : What you do is what you seeMeaning : What we see in our life is the result of our actions
Whether supporting clients through complex cases or building bridges across cultures, Shirley is passionate about guiding people with care, respect, and unwavering dedication.
